I've been here once, and I was not impressed. It has a consistently high score, so maybe I came on an off-day.
I had a selection of tacos, and they were dry and over-cooked.
Given the number of reviews and high yelp score, I may try it another time and hope my first visit was an aberration. -

While visiting Seattle, we stopped at this small little place...I ordered a calamari taco with a small margarita. I'm pretty familiar with how calamari should be cooked and taste like! This is by far one of the best tacos I've had! The calamari steak was sliced thin and added into the taco with cilantro, pico de Gallo, and such. Wow...they were very generous with everything that went in!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

I'm surprised by the high ratings. I am a lover of carnitas. So I always order it, not good. Chunky fat more than actual meat. Greasy and bland flavor, the carne asada was dry. Overpriced but the salsa was good and they were friendly.

I had shrimp nachos. The shrimp was very good. The chips were so salty, though. I could barely eat them the way nachos are eaten, because the saltiness was burning my mouth and obscuring the flavors. I picked through with a fork. Really, they should use better chips. Very, very bad chips. Nasty. . . . Otherwise, I sampled the quesadilla, and it was good. They don't skimp on the sour cream and guacamole. The deck out back is painted brick, mostly light blue, if you face the blue wall it is very pretty. Otherwise there are different colored walls, not so pretty, and an ugly swordfish hanging on the wall. And, it was a tad expensive.
